Weapon Outfitters has brought on a full-time armorer to help you put together your next build.

With combined certifications from Sons of Liberty Gun Works, School of the American Rifle, and Semper Paratus Arms between employees, the addition of a staff armorer with a cumulative 18 years of experience as a USMC 2111/Army 91F (Armorer) & weapons repair contractor for SOCOM means your next order is in good hands throughout the buying and building process.

Our services include:

Upper Receiver Assembly - $50



Our in-house armorer will professionally assemble your upper receiver components using the proper tools and gauges to ensure that everything is within proper tolerance and specification.

We offer this service for shoppers who prefer to buy the parts from us. Check out our 13.7"/and 13.9" packages.

The assembly process includes:

[li]Installation of forward assist assembly and ejection port cover onto a stripped upper receiver (if applicable)[/li]
[li]Installation of gas block & gas tube (will dimple barrel if required; drilling and pinning a gas block is a separate charge available here)[/li]
[li]Checking for gas tube alignment in receiver[/li]
[li]Barrel installation utilizing thermal fitting and alignment when necessary[/li]
[li]Handguard installation utilizing manufacturer-specific barrel nut wrenches, torque values, anti-seize grease[/li]


Muzzle Device Pinning, Unpinning, Welding & Timing - $50





Our in-house armorer will permanently attach a muzzle device, and timing (if applicable) of your choice to bring the overall length (OAL) of your chosen barrel to 16 inches. We use a TIG weld with steel pins for our pin/welds.

Please remember to send in your selected gas block and barrel nut if you are having your components shipped in for work, and to specify timing if your muzzle device requires it! (i.e. Surefire Warcomp, SOLGW NOX, Lantac Dragon, etc.) You won't be able to properly assemble your upper without these components staged on the barrel assembly.


Front Sight Block to Low-Profile Gas Block Conversion - $125



With this service, your Front Sight Base will be cut down into a low profile gas block.

The A-frame will be chopped and profiled to fit under modern rails, and the bayonet lug and swing swivel will be ground off. The taper pins that retain the block will be maintained for extra durability, while the exposed metal will be retreated with Cold Blue and finished over with a black, high-temperature spray paint.


Gas Block Pinning - $40



With this service we install and pin a gas block in place.

Gas blocks that use set screws, detents, or clamps can fail, so we drill through and use a taper pin perpendicular to the barrel, so is no chance that your gas block can come loose or rotated offline from the gas port.
