Default Caldwell ID gun show coming up

September 23 - 24. Small, but usually pretty good.

Thanks for posting. I prefer the smaller shows as they tend to be more about guns than swag/crap.

I like the small shows, too. At the big ones, I end up spending hours and hours pawing through all the junk boxes looking for hidden gems.

Thanks bigbossman!

How does the Caldwell show compare to the Homedale show? Was seeing some really cool old stuff at the Homedale show last winter!

Just my luck that's the one weekend I get off in August/September so was heading for the hills to camp and scout between Idaho City and Lowman but might make a quick sprint back to the TV to see what's around.

Thanks Boss.

Cladwell show is usually a little bigger than homedale and marsing show, smaller than nampa/ford idaho center show.

As Nitroxdiver said, the Homedale show is the smallest of the bunch. So small, I have to really work to browse for an hour or two. I end up doing about 3-4 circuits through the tables to make sure I didn't miss anything, and even taking time gabbing with the vendors I just don't spend a bunch of time there - and trust me, I look at everything.

I thought it was a good show. Bought some 12ga #6 for $5/box, a nice hatchet for $25, a pair of 5.11 Tactical pants for $5 and a good handful of end-mill bits for $5.

But the big score......

A nicely sporterized K98 in 8mm, with a bag of 100 rounds of milsurp ammo. $220.
