Default 17 foot flood water dam $15.39 Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085S2DEU/

"
Question:
Is it reasonable to expect that the 17' saturated barrier will stay in place during hurricane winds?

Yes! It’s one of the reasons I purchased this product. Once it gets wet and expands it stays in place. We would have been flooded for sure last year during Hurricane Irma. We purchased several 17 foot Quick Dam and placed them in various places. It definitely protected my home. No water damage at all. If I could rate them 10 stars I would. see less

Thanks Darto. The creek is across the street, and the water does rise!

I use a 6' Quick Dam outside my shop door when it rains really hard. Learned my lesson the first year here when my shop flooded. One 6' saves my *** every year. It holds back several inches of water. Best part is they are reusable.

My patio slopes towards the house. We'll see how well this works. Not too expensive. Makes a nice science experiment.
