and download the software and install it.

Instructions are online and in the software. There is also an "FAQ" page on the website.

Basically you take a picture of your group, or scan it on a printer/scanner (which is what I do now, and probably more precise). Then you copy the group pic to your computer, open the software, import the group pic, and then it's just a matter of:
  1. telling the s/w your hole size (.224, in my case)
  2. showing the s/w a known distance on the pic, for reference (the 1-inch X-ring, in my case)
  3. inputting the center of each shot (this part is imperfect and subject to user honesty)
It's really easy once you do it a couple times.

The software is free but if you like it the guy who made it will take a $12 payment, which I recommend.

Thanks buddy, I just downloaded it, now for me to get some shooting in so I can see how I'm doing.

Only 3 shots, so I don't think it really counts, but it was the last 3 rounds of FGMM I had. Now I just need a set of dies, I've got everything else to start loading my own.

700 SPS Varmint .308, AICS 2.0, Bushnell 3.5-21x50 G2 DMR, 168grain FGMM
3 shots, 100 yards.

A little update, after breaking in the Krieger service rifle barrel, it seems to be shooting great. Groups were shot at Havasu range in 100+ temps. Needless to say, quite happy.

Took 2 Marlin 22's out the other day to try some optics and test some common ammo. Notes on the photos. Plain CCI worked best in the Model 60, but Blazer worked best in the 39A. The 39A is larger & heavier, maybe it handles the zip of the Blazer rounds better. Winchester Match was 2nd best in both guns. Shot sitting at the bench, sandbags in front.

35 round group, with iron sights, from 100 yards. Not exactly single hole, but I'm shooting cheap ammo.

I just got this AR-15, my first one, so I'll post another target after I've shot through a couple more orders of ammo from now. I'm a shotgun shooter before rifle, and am still trying to master the rifle iron sights before investing in a scope.

Not nearly as good as most of you guys but heres a 5 shot group out of my saiga 7.62x39 the first time shooting it, this was at a tiny bit over 25 yards standing using the stock irons and golden tiger ammo.

(i think the shot in the red is a flier from earlier in the day)

That's good shooting for iron sights.
An IPSC target is just over 2moa wide and over 3moa tall at 700yds.

Default Still have a lot to learn

.223 handloads out to 675 yards at SLOSA. My apologies for the shakiness. I attribute it to the guy in the next lane who had a Rainier Arms Comp. That, and the fact that I was resting the camera on an empty PMC box

Load
77 grain Nosler Custom Competition HPBT
21.9 (+/- ?) grains IMR 4320 (pretty slow)
Mixed brass
COAL 2.255
Loaded on a Lee Classic Cast Turret with no crimp

Rifle
PSA 16" Midlength
BCM Bolt Carrier Group
Nikon P-223 3-9x40mm

I first zeroed and shot groups at 100 yards on a composite rest and a rear bag. Then I dialed 130 clicks up.

Like I said, I have a lot to learn. The flyer was with group 2.

Not too much wind today. Interesting on target 2 (not including the sight-in): vertical stringing. From what I understand it could be a whole host of things.

415 yards on a hill (or 425 yards depending on who you ask)
Again, I apologize for the jerkiness. I really need to find a better way of resting the camera. A tripod perhaps...

Dang flyers were killing me on Monday. Probably not the best conditions with 20-25mph gusts, but I felt like the misses were more my fault than the wind. Shooting way too deep into my pause at times and waiting minutes between shots on others. Poor discipline.

Went to Sports Field Shooting Range after work today. This was the best 5 shot group I shot for the day.

I had to swap out numerous parts on my Bushmaster 308 ORC before I was finally satisfied with it's performance. Here's how it looks now.
