Any wands or bag checks?

Depends on the show. I went there twice last year one show was bag checks the other was wanding. There was a heavy police presence in the area for both show's, mostly because traffic was a mess.

Tim Allen (bag check) Roger Daltry (wanding). Tim Allen they had sound issues, Roger Daltry put on a hell of a show. Nice place but parking is a PIA, if you don't get there early enough to get a spot on the street.

I don't know about the Bob Hope Theater, but the Stockton Arena implemented wand checks and metal detectors this past year for hockey games (and other events I assume). Since they are both operated by Stockton Live, i would expect the same policies and procedures

Haha, I found that out this past Saturday for the Heat game! I had to run back to the car!

Lol. If the seats weren't so damn small I'd have carried there previously. But I was surprised at the opener that they were checking

I just have my wife sit on my gun side when I am somewhere with small seats. Doesn't help with the comfort side though! We were in the second row next to Colorado's penalty box. I think it was section 114. I had carried there before (last season or the season before) so I was surprised when I saw the metal detectors.

I actually felt really bad because my 7 1/2 month pregnant wife had to wait in the rain while I ran back to the car to lock up my gun and knife! She couldn't even go in without me because the tickets were on her phone!

I’d get there early and go for it. If they are wanding you will hav time to return the your firearm back to your car, and still be able to make the show.
I did this exact thing last Saturday while attending a play at the Sacramento Community Center. They weren’t wanding.
