No tactical/gun logo garments for me.

Just regular t-shirts that are normal fitting (not to too tight, not too baggy) and shorts or skinny jeans. I carry at 3:30 with a Crossbreed light tuck or reckoning, depending on the pistol. I carry the same way in the winter with the exception of a jacket or sweater over my clothes

Bunnysloper:

I just a couple days ago received a Crossbreed light tuck as you have. I am real frustrated with it. The leather is way too stiff. I can't carry at 3:30 as you show, I have tried cranking my belt way tight to make the holster conform to the curve of my side but that is too uncomfortable. I have been working both my G19 and G26 into it and that has helped as it was way tight to begin with. When you first got your holster what did you do to make it comfortable?

Both of my Crossbreed holster took a little time to break-in. Although, they were acceptably comfortable straight out of the box, even though I wear pretty tight jeans. I don?t know if it made a big difference but I did get the horsehide leather. The holsters pretty much formed to my body, now.

I mostly use Crossbreed Super Tucks in horsehide. They conform to your body pretty quickly but you do need to wear them to do so. Do you have a proper gun belt? That helps a lot with comfort. I've recently swapped from the old style belts to a ratcheting belt to get more incremental options for tightening the belt. Also, you may need to try various positions (3, 3:30, 4, 4:30) to see what works for you regarding each firearm since they sometimes carry differently depending on size and weight.

I've noticed that it's harder for me to carry at the 3 o'clock position without my holster trying to sag a bit on my right hip as I move around. Apparently, regardless of the tightness on my ratcheting belt, there's not enough of my hip catching on the belt to keep it relatively even on the horizontal plane. I think the leather is just too slick. So, I am closer to the 4 o'clock position.

Two other things you can do include changing the cant/depth using the alternative holes if you got them, as well as giving the holster a bit of a combat cut so you can get more fingers on the grip of the gun when you want to draw it.

It's funny that I now look for these whenever I'm at Costco to see if there's something worth trying out. At the prices, if it doesn't work out, I don't feel bad.

Agreed !
I was at Costco today checking tire prices
Really had a Nice selection of shirts
I need another shirt like I need an ice water enema, but I had to get a few while they have them

Loads of clothes out on the tables right now ..........

Would it be a good idea to try shirts and pants on once you start carrying so you get the right fit? If so, any departments stores people recommend where I could just get everything at once?

Try the 5.11 stores in the east bay/north bay area, as well as your local TJmaxx or Marshalls for closeout pricing on button down printed plaids or hawaiian shirts

Still figuring it out, tucked in undershirt, Clinger hinge, untucked Hawaiian shirt one size too big.

Milt Sparks SS2 I ordered Friday AM is already shipped as are more Hawaiian shirts...we'll see with those.

Literally my first weekend carrying...so I'm by no means knowledgeable as to what works yet...

Maybe, maybe not.

It doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

Been doing it for years (even before moving to AZ).
Same. I am surprised that no one sees my gun at 3 oclock and appendix under graphic shirts. Theyre not even loose.

When I get to wear a button down shirt, I feel Iike Im super covert lol

For the button down short sleeve shirts, check the material.

If it's 3% to 7% spandex and the rest polyester, then it'll fall very well without printing. Also very wrinkle free. Can get some at Ross for like $12 each
