Sounds like everyone had a great time. Looking forward to your next meet up. I am new to reloading too. Just picked up a DILLION RL550B. I'm looking for dies.

G-Man,

I will be reloading 9mm, 45acp, 10 mm, .308 win and .223 Remington. I am looking for these dies. Is it necessary to use carbide dies? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ivan is the Grand Poobah of the NorCal/East Bay Reloaders.
Information should go out or be updated in this thread
for the next meeting.
It sounds like we have a ground swell in the works. We'll need to talk about components for specific loads and maybe some live demo's to come.

Where did everybody go? Ivan, someone at the last meeting offered up a place to meet for our next meeting, do you remember who it was? Maybe they lost touch with the thread but are still interested.

I believe one of the gunner to my left mentioned he might have a garage to use. Possibly getsum96, ghost_maker or htlp . I don't hit the site every day but I do check E-mails every day.

I have not offered my garage as only about three people (five if i move my motorcycle outside) can fit in it at the moment. I would be happy to host in the future once my garage gets cleared out, though at the pace it has been going that will likely be a year away or so.

At the last meeting I thought we had agreed to meet at someones house in Martinez though I have not heard any concrete information regarding the use of that location since the meeting. Hopefully a place, day and time will become firm for the next meeting soon.

I have been reloading for a few years, but new reloaders have to step up and post. What day, hour, what equipment, what calibers. What do the new guys want? I can bring a Dillon 650 and different tool heads to show the caliber change process.

I'm interested in 308, 223 and maybe 45 Cal. right now but first need to figure out if I want to go with a simple, low cost, single stage or spend more on a Dillon 550b setup.

The only thing slow about a 650 is when you're doing 5 rounds for load development. That's when the single stages would be best. once you have a good load you can wish for more components.

I would be interesting in seeing this and what it takes to switch tool heads and get it tuned in for another caliber.

I'm new to reloading. I've only been doing it for over a month. I'm only loading .223 for now and have gone through about 500 rounds. I love reloading and regret not doing it sooner. I'm looking forward to the next meet. I'm new but I'll contribute in any way possible.

I'm interested and have one or two friends that would be too (we're building 300blk uppers, which is a good excuse to start reloading).
I have a lee single stage to start. Figure I'll get some sort of progressive, but not sure which one I want, and the single stage will always be useful for heavy duty apps and single operations. Seeing a variety of progressive setups would be very useful.
I've only reloaded 223 since IMR4198 has been the only powder I've been able to score (bass pro shops ship to store). Last week bass pro shops had small rifle magnum primers and small pistol primers on the shelves.
The availability and shipping problems with primers/powder are such that I wouldn't expect a group buy to be possible with much selection for a while.

I'm in Sunol.

I am looking for help in setting up the primeing system on my 1050.
If anyone is in the Hayward area and knows the ins and outs of the 1050 primeing system I would be willing to take you out for a decent dinner if you can help me trouble shoot this thing.
I swear I am not an idiot both my 650's run like tops the 1050 just keeps fighting me.
NoKarma

Edit.
Some one helped me out.
Thank you Rod.
