Default CNC work in San Diego?

By chance can anyone recommend anybody in the San Diego area who does CNC machining? Preferably someone I could hire to do a small-scale, one-off type project.
I would very much like to have a small 2" to 3" handguard extension made for a LMT MRP CQB piston rifle. Something similar to some of the SCAR extensions that mount internally to the existing rails and protrude out covering the 3,6,9 sides of the gas block.
Anyone?

I know people who have had one off designs machined by Protolabs- https://www.protolabs.com/?utm_sourc...SAAEgIjgPD_BwE

They're not local to SD but they'll manufacture your part if you send them a CAD file and mail it to you within a few days. Everyone I know that has used them is very happy with their services.

I have had several things made by proto1 designs in Santee. They do a bunch of one off stuff too.

There was a shop in SD that did anything, they even let me cut my own 80% there. ATF shut that stuff down a few year ago.

If you can do some measurements and design yourself it would perhaps speed up the process and lower the cost for you. There are many free design programs online. Tinkercad is easy to get started wtih for example. If you have a design you can print a prototype before going the CNC route to make sure it's what you want.
