These are handy reliable little lights. I think I've lost 5 of them so far haha. Thanks for the heads up.

In for one. I could have used one yesterday. My flashlight died in a crappy part of San Jose while I was at a side job.
Thanks for posting. I bought one and 6 other lights. Going to replace the ones in my home and cars.

I have both the standard and the stretchy neck version. Very useful and compact. The black ones have the same anodizing as AR15 receivers.

I was going to order but one review says he bought 3 over last couple years and the switch went out on all of them. Robert Malenchick's review about the fifth in the list.

How is Streamlight MicroStream Ultra-compact compare to the O-Light I3E?

I have two different MicroStreams and they each have a different tint from one another. One is around the 4,000-4,500 range and the other seems to be around 6k. The I3E has a tint somewhere in between the two and is much brighter. Has a longer throw and wider splash as well. However, the Streamlight was the reversible clip which is important to some people (including me). Hope this helps.

I've had the same or very similar model for many years and it works fine.

I guess we'll hear it on here if they are junk now a days

I know it's a small sample size, but my work crew has bought about 6-7 this year and no failures at all. We use them all day long. I wonder if it was a bad batch or possibly counterfeit? Ours all came in clamshell packing from Grainger but some have higher temperature colors/kelvin.

I'll tell you on Saturday once I receive my Streamlight light, and compare it to the Olight I3E that I have from the BF sale.

I like the super small size of the I3E, and it's decently bright, but no where near as bright as some other keychain AAA lights that I have that can use a 3V 10440 li-ion battery.

The iTP A3 is still one of my favorites with a 10440 (about 300 lumen brightness).

Got mine in the other day. Looks like it might be a nice Lil edc. The black finish is matte and not gloss like I expected though

I'm looking for a small light that has a focus-able beam.
Anybody?

It won't blind assailants at 5 feet, but it works pretty good for spotting rattlesnakes in wood piles at much further, and finding fuel leaks under the hood at one in the morning in the snow.

Thanks, James - sounds like a good compact light for keeping in the car/truck for troubleshooting, etc. plus only $15 for Streamlight quality is a no brainer. Ordered one each for myself and my Brother.

Received the two lights I ordered - problem is they sent me one 100 lumen and one old stock 90 lumen. I call and get some outsourced Filipino CSR chick I could hardly understand. Explain situation and she says they'll get the correct item to me by Wednesday and also email me a return label for the wrongly sent light. I state that the mistake was theirs, not mine, and that I shouldn't have to spend my valuable time packaging/returning their $15 mistake.

Thanks for the free 90 lumen light, Jeff Bezos

They both had the same 66118 model number. The 90 lumen was in plastic clamshell packaging and only said 90 lumens on the back and runtime of 6.5 hours on front/back of packaging. The 100 lumen came in plastic/cardboard packaging and had a gold sun/circle with 100 lumens on the front and stated runtime as 8 hours on both front/back.

I ordered 2 of them and, in large letters, they both say 100 Lumens on the package.

And they both came with two AAA batteries.

Sounds to me like the Amazon inventory system is treating the old 90 lumen lights and the current 100 lumen ones as the same thing since they have the same Streamlight p/n of 66118. In testing the two I received, it is hard to notice the slight difference in output but the extra 1.5 hours of light from the most current version could be helpful in a emergency situation.

I found that I had a 90 lumen and just tried your “trick”. They are sending me another one and having UPS pickup the first one from my doorstep!
