Default Hunting Stocking Stuffers

Merry Christmas Calgunners!

I’m looking for some gift ideas for my father-in-law, who happens to be an avid hunter (mainly Mule Deer and Elk). What’s your favorite hunting/shooting gear that would fit in a stocking and cost less than $50?

I love the Havalon knives.

https://www.havalon.com/

Some of my skinning knives cost over $300, never use them anymore.

When I am looking for a Xmas present and can't figure out what to buy them, they get a Havalon....

I'm partial to pocket knives with drop point blades rather than the Havalons. I have one made by Kershaw that's similar to their Shuffle line and another one made by Gerber that looks very similar but is no longer in production.

"The Shield" from SK Blades.

It's a blue Buck 110 lightweight (plastic handle similar to the old bucklite series) with a drop point CPM-154 blade.

It's light enough that he could just toss it in his normal hunting pack and forget about it until he (or someone else) forgets their knife. Or he could just use it as his main knife, whatevs.

I never thought I'd be out hunting when someone would forget their knife, but just this past season it happened. My buddy shot a deer and didn't have a knife on him, but I did!

Hurry Up and go to the YSR's Eddie Bauer topic, then go down and click on the link that I posted. Then get him a pair of Superior Down Gloves, listed at 75 dollars, then you get 60% off, final cost to you, somewhere around $41.25, free shipping, get on Monday, Merry Christmas.
