I can install the hammer without any tools in a few seconds.

I always take my time on the receiver extension though because I like it level/square.

And I stake.

I also take my time on lowers. Each piece must be oiled, inspected, and fondled correctly.

Lol!

Thank you my friend. Getting that machine cerokoted was a bit of a hassle.
I built it for my daughter and she stored it in her dorm room at a Cal State.
Also it was my first “piston” AR (Featureless)

A guitar case works. Keep it locked however.

Sir
It’s not attached and to ease any worry concerning a thumb hole stock
Situation I did increase the gap. Lucky I have a bandsaw in my garage.

The thordo stock was an early model and I really prefer the ACE fixed stock
With buffer and spring inside so I bandsawed the thordo.

Be well
Bob
Here’s the ACE and Thordo in 2 separate rifles.

I never knew there were so many people with smelting experience and the equipment to do it. One day, I would love to build a stripped lower.
But for now, I've only assembled complete lowers from pre-built stripped lowers.
That takes me about half an hour.

Well, when you cut a thordo, it is no longer a stock, now it's a grip. Just sayin'. Don't wanna burst any bubbles.

Just my opinion, you do you.

i enjoy the hammerhead grips when used with a fixed carbine stock put a litlte fuzzy velcro on the plate and the web of my thumb is comfy if using the ace stock i would use the vagparca or the strike simple featureless

if you still have the back part of the thordo stock you could probably repair it at least i think i could

The 1st time takes a little longer, just because it's the 1st time, but after that it's really easy.

Pretty fast until I get to the bolt release pin, then I destroy 5 pins, scratch up the receiver and am forced to take time off before going nuts.
