DElay gone past 30 days and the DOJ won't release
This is a new one for me. We had a customer that was delayed. Yesterday was the 30th day so it should have been undetermined. Called DES this morning and they said there is nothing they can do and the soonest the status would be changed won't be till next week. Wondering if anyone has had this happen before and if they know of any number besides the DES helpline to call. Kind of crappy to put us in this situation as the customer wants there guns back but there s no way for me to release them without an approval.

I suspect that other CA DOJ people need to change it and they won't be back until Monday.

I get a lot of undetermined. They are not auto done on day 31. Someone from there clearance department runs a new NICS check and manually changes the status so I would say kemasa in 100% correct that no one is there to run the NICS. Did you call to see if it had a new NTN number so federally you could release? If it did someone forgot to change the status.

I got it this morning. Was able to release the firearms.
