Dean Safe sales?

I’m about to pull the trigger on a new safe and would prefer to buy from Dean Safe. They have what I’m after in stock, but before I buy I wanted to check with you guys to see if they usually run sales and when? I could wait until Memorial Day but probably not Independence Day unless it is a helluva great sale. Thanks.

I know you are set but please check out sturdy safe..they make great safes. That will be my choice when it comes time to change

I don't remember them having real sales, maybe promotions or specials on certain models. I was able to negotiate the price down a bit the last time I bought a safe from them. The price on the website is generally the lowest advertised price that the manufacturer will allow, and they can beat that price in-store.

Good tip, thanks. I’m buying a Fat Boy Jr Extreme from them because they’re semi-local and they’ll deliver and install upstairs where I want it, so hopefully they’ll negotiate down.

They used to have a yearly scratch/dent/overstock/last year model parking lot sale, but I havent seen it since covid. I got an $1800 safe for $1000 so they had good deals.

I got my safe from them at a scratch and dent sale. I still don't know what was wrong with mine. Nearly half price.

I had a great experience with West Coast Safes. The sale and delivery was great. We had an idea of what we wanted and they spent a lot of time talking to us but zero pressure. I had an issue a few years with the lock and they worked with mfg to get it replaced at no cost. No muss no fuss. Would buy from again.

I also had great luck with West Coast. I upgraded to a larger safe and they took my older safe as a trade in. They gave me a very fair price for the trade in.

They usually have some safes on sale at gun shows.

Check out Sun Welding in Simi Valley; they make very nice “gun safes” (which nearly all are UL classified as RSC’s), and sometimes sell demo models and others at reduced prices.

I see they're running a 10% off sale on Liberty Safes through the end of the month.

Sturdy is the way to go. And make sure you get one model bigger than you think you need.
