Question Monthly Shoot?

The monthly shoot is this a dead deal now?

You talkin' indoor or outdoor?

There are a couple of indoor ranges in Riverside, I'm down for a shoot.

I was thinking indoor like the monthly shoots we had before as long as I can keep my brass.

Both of the indoor ranges in Riverside allow you to keep your own brass, no harvesting of others though.

I have shot at both it's been a while has Magnum updated their ventilation system years ago it was bad. It would be nice to get a few guys together and meet at one of the ranges.
Outdoor I usually shoot Bee Canyon but it is closed until the next rainy season.

I'm not sure if RMR has updated their ventilation system since the last time I was there (early 2017), but the air quality wasn't bad when I visited. Granted, all the lanes weren't taken, it was maybe 50% capacity. I don't know how bad the air quality is on a busy weekend.

I shot at RISR a few times in the last year, mainly 'cause it is a bit closer. Didn't notice a big difference in air quality.

I prefer outdoor ranges, but I'm kind of iffy on going to Lytle Creek. Couple of cons for me are the distance (80 mile round trip for me), and the fact that you can't set up targets closer than 25yds on the main range. I prefer to practice my handgunning at 7~10yds, which is a much more realistic distance for HD training. I guess I just ain't a Baller, the distance from my bedside to the door of my bedroom isn't 25yds.

Anyone know if the rules have changed at LC regarding handgun distance targets on the main range?

Bee canyon is closer, but as you know, it's closed.

Last time I shot at RMR was in 2014, I shot at RISR range a few times with Cal Guns and on my own. I prefer outdoor ranges as well but nothing close to me plus to hot now. I can shot at Hi-Desert Rod and Gun club but that is 104 miles round trip and hot out there. Bee Canyon is 5 miles from my home. There is an indoor range in Beaumont but you lose your brass once it hits the ground. Maybe some others will chime in and maybe we can set a date and meet up at one of the indoor ranges.
