freaking new mobile phones with only firewire or usb type-c w/o a separate power connector vs. 3.5mm (or is it 2.5mm?) audio jack.
I see some special cables that can do both power and audio. but unsure how well they work. Anyone has any experience? https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Femal...085XQYJFV?th=1 Last edited by high_revs; 02-03-2023 at 8:17 AM.. |

You can add a Bluetooth module to any old system and not worry about cables and adapters to your phone.

FireWire? Man, I haven't seen that since about 2008.
+1 on just adding a Bluetooth receiver. I'd get one with aptX or LDAC though. If it's just for a home stereo, I would actually consider getting a dedicated mp3 player. |
