Default Which would you sell?

Safe is ridiculously tight - I’ve had it. Buying a larger one, or a second one, is not an option. I think getting rid of 3-4 of these will make getting into the safe much more enjoyable.

FN15 Military Collector M16

IWI Galil Ace Gen 2 (5.56)

Sig MPX Competition Carbine

Wilson Combat Protector Carbine

BCM Recce-16 MCMR

Beretta 1301 Tactical Enhanced

Defiance DMK22C

I was doing a poll but didn’t realize there was a 5 minute time limit - went back and added to the OP.

The Galil would be most likely to hurt, for sure.

Edit: not going to lie, the Sig is an amazing shooting experience as well, so not sure which will hurt the most. The Beretta is bonkers, the FN is so well built and precise even with the irons…this sucks.

It would depend on what else you would be keeping. For example you only listed one shotgun. Do you have other shotguns that would fill a similar purpose? If not then I'd keep it. I would get rid of guns that are substantially similar to others I would keep. And since it appears you are doing this for space, not $, I'd keep the nicer pricier ones and dump the cheaper ones. From your list I'd sell the FN15, Galil, and BCM. Add the 1301 and DMK22 if you have other similar shotgun and .22.

Don't do it brother. Your going to regret later on.
I'm in the same boat. I'm getting some of my guns upgraded and just buying handguns until I can get another safe.

Just get another safe. Even if I needed the money AND more space, no way would I sell any gun unless I absolutely hated it

Do it in reverse. Which one do you like best? Then go to choice #2, then #3, etc.

If those were your only longguns Iíd keep:

1 - 1301 for HD
2 - Galil, because itís the best AK
3 - FN, as a reaction to endless AR carbines out in the market

Sell off the rest, then buy a 10/22 because everyone needs a 22.

My option: keep all of them, buy what ever you're trying to fund with a credit card and sleep soundly on the couch for the next 3 months or until wifey forgives you.

You’re overthinking it. If you need money or want a different gun just sell however many you need (because we all know saving from our payroll checks is near damn impossible and family should come before anything else) and don’t look back. If you are the type that has a difficult time letting go then pawn your guns for a loan and get rm back after you buy what you want. If tonyte you die will anyone else care or miss your Galil or your shotgun besides you?

Never get rid of guns cuz your safe is too small thats the problem you do need either a 2nd safe or a bigger one.
I eneded up getting a 2nd bigger safe once my first one filled up (they always do)

Not sure how many other ARís you have in 556 but the Wilson, bcm and defiance are all similar to me. If you have others I would say bye to those 3 or at least 2 out of 3.

But sellers remorse might be pretty bad

Get safe socks for everything.
Get rid of the dividers/racks in the safe and you can stack it much tighter.
No need to sell anything.

Why isnít another safe an option? You donít have to get a large fancy expensive one. Get a stack on safe from Walmart, theyíre not great, but you can easily move it yourself and they deliver it to your house for free in most cases. I want to say I bought one from Walmart. Mine is only supposed to hold like 12, but I think I stuffed 16 in there. Below is an example of one I just found.

Iím a bit concerned about keeping guns in a non DOJ approved safe or cabinet. Hate the idea of being responsible for someone taking off with a bunch of guns because I didnít have them secured properly.

Also, to be honest, Iím doing some soul searching about how many guns I need. If SHTF itís not like Iím going to carry everything with me. As it is I have enough for each member of the family and then some. Why horde more?

This one is on the roster:
https://www.amazon.com/Stack-GCB-14P.../dp/B002TOKR26

https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/safety-device/gcb-14p

The difference between the rostered and non-rostered versions appears to be the graphics on the front.

I donít know, I guess itís one of those things to decide why you buy them in the first place. If itís just for self defense, you only need maybe 2-4 guns total. If itís to collect, then itís not about need. I donít need anymore for home defense, I have 3 safes full packed to the limit and Iím contemplating a 4th safe. But then I like collecting them like anything else people might collect. How many purses or shoes do women really need? :P

About them being stolen, there are people who have had large heavy duty safes stolen (the whole thing was carted away). Nothing is 100% secure from being stolen.

If I were you thinking the way you are now, I would just stop buying anymore guns, and just buy one more small safe and then thatís it. Itís better to keep
everything you have right now. Your guns will always go up in value too.

Thatís like the one I have. Itís funny because my huntsman safe is not listed on that list but itís a heavy duty safe. That particular stack on can be opened by a can opener. So I guess the CA safe certified list is just as stupid as the handgun roster.

DOJ says that all “Residential Security Container” rated boxes are okay.

https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/gunsafe

https://govt.westlaw.com/calregs/Doc...wType=FullText

The law just says “locked container.”

My advice do what I have done a bolt a semi automatic in one caliber and then a couple handguns in there caliber because if shtf carrying 25 different rifles and ammo is going to be unrealistic. Pc9 a clock then rifles just my point of view unless you have a man cave with display cases and bullet proof glass
