Default M-2 carbine fun..

Went out this morning and shot a friends M-2 carbine. More C&R MG fun in the Az mountains!

The little carbine functioned perfectly even with Tula steel cased ammo.

Enjoy!!

WOW, thank you for sharing.

Some day I will move out of Ca. and would like to get an M2 or a Ruger AC556. They are great investments and it seems every time I look them up the prices are higher.

Once upon a time I had an M2 parts kit. Traded it for a Springfield M1922M1. Best trade I ever did.

My grandfather carried (and used) and M2 in Korea as a 24th division radioman. He said he would tape two of those mags together.

He is 89 and unfortunately can't stand up and hold a rifle anymore. Needs a cane. He was stoked years ago when I let him molest my m1 carbine and Garand.

We also shot his Sten Mk5. We shot it a few weeks ago, he has since painted it.

I've fired a lot of full auto guns, but never an M2. I'm jealous.
