Default PPT that Goes over the 30 Day, Do BOTH come back?

PPT, the guy doesn't come to pick it up in 30, he wants to re-DROS, do BOTH Seller and Buyer need to come back? Do I have to release back to Seller, then they do the process all over again?

From what I’ve read, yes. Buyer would need to be present to re-DROS due to needed signatures.

Yes, it has to be re-DROS'd with both buyer and seller present (signatures). You do not have to release gun back to buyer assuming both are on board with the process.

If you used the DROS worksheet. You could use the same one again for the re dros the 2nd time.

Good idea might start doing this just in case we run into this situation

Right, its not required, but would have been a remedy to the situation described in the original post. If one had been done the seller would not have needed to return, sign and thumbprint. We don't do them on the PPT because I frankly don't care if they are inconvenienced by having to come back.

No, not required but sure is handy. And given what we know (or more specifically don't know) about DOJ's mystery processes, a DROS worksheet is smart.

I have a FFL who usually always uses them for PPT.

Also, why couldn't a previously completed DROS form by the seller be used as a proxy for a DROS worksheet on a subsequent re-DROS of the same gun by the same seller to the same buyer, if a re-do was required? I have heard some FFLs will do that.
