Default Antelope Valley A.V. Roll Call
Welcome All. We have been given a A.V. Area CALGUNS Shooting Sports Association chapter.

We are looking for a few members to step up and volunteer to act as chapter leads or coordinators to help bring the community together.
We are looking for volunteers from all over the Antelope Valley Area to help set up Monthly Range Shoots and other events.
If you would like to help please post in this thread with what you would be willing to do and where you are located.

Where are you going to shoot? DMRPC, out in the desert?

I'm in Lancaster, might be able to make a shoot now and then. My job makes it hard, never know when and how long I'll be home.

As you know Jacob I've been wanting to do something for ages, but I'm swamped as far as time to dedicate.

I'm West Palmdale, 15 min from the gun show.
I can sit in a booth, I can also offer my house for temporary storage of any booth gear.

I prefer Desert Marksmen to shoot at, and even if you are not a member they have some great matches on the weekends such as Practical and defensive pistol, Tactical and urban rifle, Cowboy Action & 1000 yard. All very inexpensive even for non members.

That said, there is also BLM land to the North and "A Place To Shoot" just South of us for shooting events.

Checking in from Rancho Vista. I normally shoot out at Oak Tree in Newhall, but am eager to do some tin can plinking when I find a safe place to do so.

I am just checking in here because I was born and raised in Lancaster. Left after high school. Joined the navy and did the southeastern tour with their various schools. Ended up in Japan for 3 years and then San Diego for another 7 years. Spent some time in Oceansidei, then Tustin. Been living in Corona for the past 9 years. Really thinking hard about retreating to Idaho.

Live in Lancaster. In 2 years plan to move to Arizona Free State. Wifey's parents passed, she's only child so inherited their place. Until then, usually go paper-punching up at Tehachapi Sportsmens' Club. Should join Desert Marksmen too.

not sure if this is still active.
i am in lancaster looking for some sort of a lancaster/palmdale club. so does everyone just hang out at the gun shop on serria highway?
