How to Post (Embed) Pics - Instructions

Hi all, I'm not sure where to ask general questions on the listing format, so I'm going to start here and see what happens. I have a question regarding the location of the listings in the marketplace. A large portion of sales that occur between members seems to be face to face meetings. However, when searching the marketplace, many times the location is unknown, or you read a listing with growing excitement only to find out the item is far away.

Question #1: is there a way to filter by location?

Question #2: if the answer to #1 is no, would that be something the administrators would consider adding as a feature?

I can't tell you how helpful it would be to be able filter out listings to within a radius of someone's location. So many deals are dependent on location it seems like an obvious feature to add.

I use my iPad or iPhone, Safari browser, and IMGUR.COM to upload pics from IOS/IPADOS to Calguns. I visit calguns in Safari always even from phone, I never use Tapatalk

Yep; same problem. I've lost existing photos and cannot upload both identical and replacement photos to my CalGuns post.

After following your instructions on how to post pics, everything has been going great, until today. I had to change some pics because a few things sold, and when I tried to upload some new pics, it wont let me upload, says theres a file error. Im not doing anything differently.

It’s the site’s problem, ever since the site had a security update, now everyone is having issues viewing or uploading photos.

Me too - I have not been able to see photos lately. Is somebody working on this issue? Is there a workaround? An update of the status of this would be nice.

Yes, the issue is known and I'm sure they are working on it. There were some software updates that created an issue and it took a few days to fix.

Obviously it didn't stay fixed. It will be fixed as soon as possible.

(I'm not speaking for any of the staff, but through being a member for a while. Things happen and usually are corrected).

I have no idea why I can't post pics. When I do try to post pics in my listings sometimes it will show the address for the jpg and sometimes it actually posts a picture. I've tried to make the pics smaller because I know it said only a certain sized picture can be posted. I don't know.
