or... under user CP (control panel), on the left towards the bottom - under "miscellaneous" - click on "list subscriptions"... I'm pretty sure you can turn off auto-renew there...

I didn't know which forum or thread to post this in so apologies in advance if this is the wrong place!


I am pretty sure I set up a recurring annual contribution but my membership was up for renewal 5 days ago and it wasn't automatically renewed. I lost access to the contributors lounge and my PMs are limited to 5000 again.



Is there any way to check on what kind of membership I signed up for and/or the status of my renewal? I don't want to sign up for another yearly membership if there's a chance that my credit card will be charged in the next few days...

I had this very issue with my garbage service pickup. I had my account set up to pay automatically. I received a notice in the mail that my bill was due.

It turned out that the debit card I had linked to the account had expired. After entering the updated expiration date, my issue was resolved.

Erm...I'm assuming you set this up via your PayPal account? Go there and review your card information.

Thanks Afterimage. I actually received an email a few days ago saying that my subscription was cancelled because of an invalid credit card. So I just resubscribed.

I didn’t realize that PayPal was where you manage your membership subscription. I thought that it was somewhere on this site. So I thought someone would be able to give me the link to where that was.
