My 5.56 and 9mm AUG is 26" but that's only cause it's a RAW. My others are 30" but with the alloy fake can and bbl extension, are actually pretty balanced.

Here's a pic from a couple years ago from up in Waiouru. It's an F88 "Austeyr" from the New Zealand Army's Combat Marksmanship Team. The vast majority of the NZ Army uses the standard F88 configuration (manufactured in Australia on license, with a few changes) but the Infantry uses a 4x ACOG.

The muzzle device is around 1.75" longer than it needs to be. I'm thinking of putting on a buttpad and then replacing the current device with a more reasonably sized brake.

This hasn't been bumped in a while. So here's a fresh pic of my two pups. Still got to get around to buying an AUG to complete the trio. Tavor and fn fs2000. Rented an fn f2000 last year in Vegas so I could experience the weapon in f/a and can say I didn't really care for it in f/a compared to other 5.56 service weapons. I do however enjoy my fs2000 in semi only. It's a bit rube goldbergish but cool none the less.

Thanks buddy. I should have an AUG in a month. They are all interesting guns. I've never fired a f/a Tavor, but have fired f/a f2000 and AUG. They both have a weird progressive trigger that was hard for me to get used to. Didn't care for either in f/a. In semi they're all a blast. Hope all is well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
