Spyderco Civilian for the girlfriend. Should be arriving today. Amazon had a damaged box lot. I don't think she will care.

Its not flashy, but I recently bought a SAK Mini Champ for air travel. I've gone through TSA about 8 times since then, no issue.

That's surprising that they let you through with a Minichamp. You must be quite lucky as they will normally confiscate that in a heart beat.

I recently ordered a knife with Doc Hagen, I'll post pictures up once it comes in. This is my first of his, and my first knife from a Guild member. Anyone have any experiences with his work in person?

Nice knives.

What would you buy if you had to choose between the Spyderco and a Blur in S30V?

Yeah check out Blurs. They are a nice design, USA made, and come in various nice steels Sandvik 14C28N, BDZ1, SV30. A Tanto serrated Blur in Sandvic @ $40 was too good to pass up and I love tantos. Not sure how I feel about the tiger stripes, but the Blurs are popular for a reason. I got a SV30 plain edge and the Tanto Sandvic.

Amazon, and EBAY usually have good prices too.

I really like the Spyderco Tenacious because I like linerlocks and monolocks and I like a thumbhole, but I wish it came in a USA made SV30. Maybe they do have one like that. I am not too familiar with Spyderco stuff nowadays.

Between the Spyderco and the Kershaw, I prefer the Spyderco. I'm left handed though and the Blur isn't really ambidextrous so I have an unfair bias. I also like the thumb hole.

I actually think I like the Benchmade the best of the three I purchased.

They're all very capable though and I'm happy with all three.

Default Couple of Blurs came in

I love these things. I want to order a spare Tanto while they are around and cheap. Tiger Stripes look great in-person.

Those are nice. I like the that design, similar to a CRYOII.

I may buy that Spyderco Endura Emerson Wave 4 knife. Would love to buy an Emerson Roadhouse but spending 200+ dollars is too much for me right now.

Just bought a Swamp Rat Ratmandu off of the bladeforums. Can't wait to get it this week to play around with it because it's my first Bussekin. Haven't gone to the Busse's yet because I haven't gotten past spending $500 plus on a knife that I would actually use. Like my guns I don't like safe queens.

A little ZT 0350 and a Kershaw 1302BW Lifter. I am trying to buy USA made Kershaws, but this model is pretty unique looking. Speedsafe works fine with its flipper, it is just heavy and clunky compared to a Blur or ZT. I still like it though

I've been through TSA at least ten times with it in my carry on bag. No issue. They opened the bag many times for my copper vaping mod too.

Damn addiction. I was on Ebay this morning and saw a never used Bravo 2 with Bark River fire steel, and piggyback pouch combo. Gave the guy a decent offer, but didn't expect him to take it. Now I have to break it to my wife that I got another knife after I got the Ratmandu two weeks ago.

Excited about my new knife. It's a zero tolerance 0121 4.25in fixed blade, sv30 steel. I wanted something I could strap to my hiking pack front strap for quick access. Something big and strong enough to be a versatile knife for day trips, but not a rambo taking on the world machete/knife; and I wanted to avoid rust issues as best as I could. The size is perfect, there were some complaints of a short handle, but its just enough to get a good grip, so the knife stays compact even though its a 4.25in blade. Quite happy with the sheath as well.

Received a spare tiger striped serrated tanto BLUR, waiting for a Surefire EW-11.

One thing I noticed about the Blurs is that they are all exactly the same. Great fit and finish, smooth action, zero blade play. Most machines vary a little if you compare a box full of them. The only difference is the blade shapes, steel, and one stripped screw I mangled changing a pocket clip over.

Kershaw USA warranty is great. I filled out a request for one screw on the web form and they sent me six screws and two clips in satin and blackwash. They will replace larger parts like the speedsafe mechanism/torsion bar free if you send in the knife for life. ZT offers lifetime sharpening.
