Decided im gonna use the kidd bolt and charging assy in the new project and go with a kidd single stage set at 1.5
This way I wont have to switch parts out of a rifle that already shoots great
I have a few more holes to drill and waiting for the stock and bolt to get here then pics I promise

Sounds like fun!

I have completed 22LR and 22WMR Razors. They are fun to build and great shooters. Mine has the KIDD single stage @1.5#...gonna spoil you for that VQ! When you are done, send a pic to Phil (owner) at SelectFire. They will post it in the completed builds gallery. Both of mine are there!

G/L with your build!

Robert

That looks like a nice rabbit killer you got!

For one second I thought it was a stainless mini-14

thanks yeah it shoots pretty well according to my friends range finder we were getting ground squirrels at 150 + you could see the round arc down and hit them pretty fun. Up close its like a lazer gun.

One more question I have and love the volquartsen it breaks clean with no roughness at all IS THE KIDD REALLY THAT MUCH BETTER???

Ok so I am now waiting on the kidd single stage in 1.5 # hope it's as good as everyone says man it sure is expensive. Stock and bolt should be here tomorrow now all I gotta do is stop being lazy and finish off the receiver
By the way any feed back on the kidd trigger would be nice all I have now is a volquartsen and its awesome

So the last of the parts are here time to motivate.
Played with the kidd bolt and installed it into the receiver seemed not as smooth as the vq bolt gonna put some rounds down range see if it loosens up a little

Never have shot a VQ but the KIDD single is nice!

Mine is at the factory minimum of 1.5# and it just breaks. No noticeable take-up or creep. Just snaps like a Q-tip sized glass rod.

Would like to hear your real world comparo of both!

Robert

Just finished my razor reciever. Went with a Kidd barrel, bolt, charge handle, hogue stock, mueller apv in Burris signature zee rings. Don't have a trigger group yet seriously considering the Kidd single stage. Your build is looking great!
