Default Crosman C40 rebuild

I found my old Crosman C40 while cleaning out the garage. It had a leaking seal the last time I saw it, at least 4 years ago, and now it also has a sticky action.*

I started thinking about cleaning it up again, but everything I've seen says not to take them apart. It was a great shooter, and would love to shoot it again, but I know nothing about this pistol.*

Anyone have any advice?
