Default News from Triple B Clays

FYI - The following was sent out today from Billie at Triple B Clays:

“Information and Lease Update #4
TO THE PATRONS/FRIENDS OF TRIPLE B CLAYS:

As previously e-mailed, Triple B Clays, Inc.’s proposal was not selected by the County of Los Angeles. I have received a notice indicating Triple B Clays, Inc. last day at the Whittier Narrows Trap & Skeet Range is January 31, 2020.
Until then, we will be operating with business as usual for as long as possible. We will do our best to keep as many fields open as long as possible through January 31, 2020, but will be slowly be removing machines after the New Year. Our agreement requires us to have all property removed at the close on January 31, 2020. We will have the next two sporting clays shoots, Dec 22 and January 4 & 5th, the next skeet shoot Dec 13-15, 2019, the Todd Bender Clinic Jan 4 & 5th and the clubs in December, including the first week of January.

After we close, we want to make sure you have a place to shoot in the future. Rahaauges, in Norco, has a great sporting clays range (which is flat, easy to get around, with multiple machines and they allow golf carts) along with a pistol range. Prado in Chino has trap and skeet ranges and they also have a pistol range. Once again, I did want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your support and friendship over these past years. We wish you all the best.

Thank you all for your patience.

Billie”

Interesting. I didn't get the email I don't know why. I remember in previous emails they called this "rumors, rumors, rumors" and that they were not closing. Place did seem in decline. Sad that we lost yet another place to shoot.

No. We have not lost another place to shoot. The lease holder for the contract to operate the shooting park is changing. It will be up and running again once the transfer is complete.

It is expected to be improved upon once that happens, and we will all be shooting there again at some point in the near future.

Possibly. How long all depends on what they want to have in place new before allowing shooters again.

Doesn't surprise me. Did you try out one of Belinda's guns at her range day?
