I've considered myself a bow guy until I saw your setup. Yes, I'm just up the road from you in MV. I have a Hoyt and an old bow my uncle gifted me from late 80s.
I just bought more arrows and broadheads in case I need discreet fire power for any "peaceful protests" coming out my way.

I have nearly 40 recurves in my collection. I used to shoot daily and shoot competitive. I need to find the time to get back in to the groove.

I love archery.
I have a PSE Drive X 60 lbs that is now my youngest sons. Tack driver of a bow but three Years ago not happy with the cheep arrow and broad head I used. Perfectly accurate 40yd shot, weak arrow and broad head performance, lost world class trophy.

A Hoyte Carbon RX3 at 65 lbs that I shoot a Victory VAP arrow 300 spine with a Iron Will 100 gr solid broad head (total arrow wt 495 grn). Harvested a 103” Coues deer with it last year. Deer will make a high score in SCI record book.

A Hoyte carbon RX4 at 70 lbs that I just set up with Victory VAP SS 250 spine arrows, 125 grn Iron Will wide broad head (total arrow wt 570 grn). Will use this next month for Coues deer.

I’m over by LAX.

I am a bow guy. For that reason I don't have any of those crazy-assed contraptions like in the photos.

I used to fling a lot. Haven’t in years. Still miss my #40 bare recurve my mom’s carpet guys stole. Compound is okay but I only shoot fingers. Haven’t shot in over a decade. I want to get a #60 bare recurve or long bow. Probably will after quarantine. Any traditional guys out there?

60 pounds is a pretty hefty bow to start shooting after a 10+ year layoff. Might want to get a cheepie takedown recurve with lighter limbs to get your form back. You can always get heavier limbs later if you want.

I have a couple of these:

https://www.lancasterarchery.com/gal...curve-bow.html

One in left-hand, one in right, and a couple sets of limbs--some light ones for visitors and newbies. Decent bows--a good value. Mine were Samick brand when I bought them, but I guess the Galaxy is the same bow.

Had a couple pins put in my rotator cuff, waiting for it to heal, like to get all of you bow people in OC together and do a shoot. Looking around September.

I want to start off with a longbow. Probably going to get one sometime this year. There’s a free archery range at a park here in Santa Ana, might as well take advantage of it. I haven’t much interest at all in compound bows but perhaps that will change once I actually get into it. No interest in hunting either. Just targets seeing as how the projectiles are reusable.

That is my favorite range. Shade, table rarely crowded, free.

I'm in for the archery day at SA.

Will bring my Hoyt compound, and just bought a Samick Sage 30# and Martin Jaguar Pro 50#.

Lets do this.

I'm a bow dude in San Diego.

Saw your pictures. Look great. I was with MWSS 472 in MAG 46 at MCAS El Toro from 1986-1990.
