Default Eddystone U.S. Rifle Model of 1917 rifle rebuild

I believe this U.S. Rifle Model of 1917 to be an Ogden arsenal WW2 rebuild. I don’t have any information on it other than the markings and features I see on it. The old DCM sold many M1917s that came from U.S. Army arsenals as late as the mid-1960’s. I don't know if this could be one of them.

Except for a few dents and gouges in the stock and some wear in the finish on the bolt and butt plate, it looks in great shape and the barrel looks and gauges like-new.

The receiver serial number (here partially shown) is in the 39000 range.

Eagle Head and Flame & Shell acceptance and ordnance stamps.
The bolt is Remington made.

Ogden arsenal stamp. "OG EK" with no enclosing box was Ogden arsenal inspector Ed Klouser's stamp.

More Eagle Head acceptance stamps on various parts.
The stock is Eddystone manufacture indicated by the "E" stamped on the front edge.

During the WW2 rebuild of M1917 rifles at Ogden, High Standard barrels were used as replacements for re-barreling.

The arsenal rebuild process mixed suitable parts from the WW1 M1917 manufacturers. This rifle has a front nose band made by Winchester. The bolt and related parts are a mixture of Remington and Eddystone. The stock and receiver are Eddystone manufacture. Part compatibility was reportably an issue with some of the early Winchester manufactured M1917 rifles.

Incidental note:

Last year, I saw another M1917 rifle up for auction online that could pass for this rifle's twin at the following website:
