Should that go in 12, or 13, or both? Or, combine 12 and 13?
Reference: https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/how-...cs-check-valid "A NICS check is valid for 30 calendar days for any transaction. The 30 calendar day period is counted beginning on the day after NICS was initially contacted." 27 CFR 478.102 ----- ETA the effect on customers is 'pick up on or before day 31 from today (date DROS submitted), or re-DROS at your own expense - AND wait another 10 days'. Example: DROS on March 1, pick up on or before March 31 (March 2-31 is 30 days), but after March 11 at time-of-DROS today', yes? See also the Julian Date table, http://uop.whoi.edu/UOPinstruments/f...day-table.html, and beware of one-off errors. Last edited by Librarian; 03-10-2021 at 7:51 PM.. |

Education for new (and old) counter persons
Don't know who needs this but I made one up for my shop. Feel free to use it or provide feedback. I am a fan of dealers helping dealers.
