Default AZ: Shooting restrictions to be lifted in Prescott National Forest August 1st

Iím surprised since the monsoon season as been a bit slow, but Iíll take it.

Yeah, August 1 has been on the calendar since they put the restriction up. Been looking forward to it for awhile.

I was worried theyíd extend it, but glad it didnít happen. Now we just need it to cool down a bit to make it more pleasant.

My son and I got out there at 7am Saturday. Found some shade and worked on some drills. Headed back for lunch. Was a good day

Probably going to build a barricade to shoot around next week. Also been scoping out some long range spots as I've been looking at 6.5 creedmoor setups lately.
