Buy a pistol wear holster and carry it under your belly. Works like a charm

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

I know some "hefty" people who carry at the five o'clock position. To me, it always seemed like a terrible idea to put your gun out of your field of view.

Find two of the best holsters that work for you. Put one on each side of a large room and run back and forth to them until one day one of them fits just as you like.

I jest of course. Hope you find the answer you need. But try three o’clock IWB. That may work for you.

4:00 IWB with a good carry belt. Get a Crossbreed holster for comfort.

Used to go 4-4:30 IWB, but now more 3-3:30, disappears into the donut.

I trained myself to drive past the donut shop...

Seriously, at 57 no matter what I seem to do short of starving myself I have a bit too much to appendix carry and I'm probably not what most would consider "fat" at 6'2" and 207 but I'm not skinny, and like 71MUSTY said the only place that works for me is 4:30 with a good belt and holster. StealthGear for me but it's similar is function to the Crossbreed. Being in the service industry and in people's houses and on ladders all the time, I tuck my shirt in 90% of the time so a shirt like Duluth longtail t or a Carhartt XL tall is also a necessity in my book.

And I pull a little slack into the shirt so I don't look like that one guy in another thread whom I shall call Printmaster 2020.

A Sticky holster for in the front pocket works great for my small overhang with the S&W Shield 9mm. I usually place a small thin wallet over it to make sure it doesn't print any outline shapes. And I have worn my shirtails outside for years.

I'm a bigger guy with a belly and carrying IWB at 3 or 330 hasn't been an issue for me at all. It took a little wardrobe adjusting to iron out all of the kinks but nothing huge or expensive.
