Moved to Vista after I got out of the military, not really familiar with the area and looking for a place to pin and weld a muzzle device to a 14.5 barrel.
Any recommendations? |

Don Gussler is a San Diego County icon. Works from home and you have to make sure your schedule and his coincide. I've done business with Mr. Gussler and have absolutely no complaints.
http://gusslers.com/ A little closer to home is Duncans Gunworks. https://duncansgunworks.com/gunsmithing Call ahead and make sure your needs can be met before burning liquid gold.

Duncan’s did a good job for me but they hire an outside welder. Just takes a couple extra days depending on the contractor.
Call Hugo. He’s a good guy and honest. He can let you know what they can do and when. |

Gunther's have great people, I just recently used them for transfer.
For gunsmith works, I highly recommend Randall, he is held in high regard not just here but other guns forum as well. I haven't had to chance, but I planned on making a visit to Randall soon. I had a p/w at a highly recommended shop as well, and the result "shocked" me. You know what they said about "buy once cry once" ? I would rather "drive 2 hours to LA once & p/w once" ![]() |
