Prayers requested

My boss got told he is no longer needed after 13 yrs with the company....Asking for support for him and his wife and his sons. He is a good Godly man who lost his brother to cancer last year. I know in my Heart that this is part of the plan and he will survive, but my faith is not as strong as it should be and I don't feel right praying myself, not sure God wants to hear from me anymore.

This, Him not wanting to hear from you is a lie straight from hell there is nothing more than GOD wants and that’s for us to seek him and talk to him as his children. Open up to him he already knows evertning it’s up to us to confess what’s keeping us from that relationship.

I agree with the above. It would break my heart if my daughters stopped talking to me because they thought that I didn't want to talk to them.

God isn't just waiting for you. He's actively pursuing you. Stop running.

God ALWAYS wants to hear from you, even if you think your prayers don't sound fancy enough, or if you think your heart isn't clean enough, or if you think you probably annoyed Him too much.

Ephesians 6:18 - "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." In other words, be like Nike, just do it.

Hebrews 4:18 - "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." In other words, go ahead and get allllllll right up in there in God's personal space. He wants to hear your business!!

Praying that your boss will be presented with opportunities to fulfill His plan, and that his family will know they care cared for by our Father. Also, praying you are able to accept His grace in you life. Maybe even be a bold witness.

I used to see that kind of stuff all the time growing up. It laid the foundation for me to want to run my own business. Took a while but I pulled it off eventually. Plenty of good that may come from it, even though that's going to be hard in the meantime.
