Default OK, Help me out here as How to legally do this?

I have a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum 7.5" that I want to sell but I want to throw in 100 rounds of Randy Rarrett, 330 grain Hammerheads as I will have nothing that will chamber the rounds after I sell the Super Redhawk. How do I legally do that in CALIFORNIA?

Theses rounds normally sell for $100 / 50 CTGS. Can I do that or must I go through the legal transfer process if no sale is involved? Advice PLEASE?

Just transfer the ammo on the pistol PPT to the buyer at the sale of the pistol.

Put the ammo on the same DROS as the gun during the PPT and you should be good to go.

If the purchaser’s information is in the AFS, the ammo can be transferred separately with a $1 Standard Eligibility Check (“instant” background check) and the buyer can leave with the ammo. The gun gets DROSed separately.

If the buyer isn’t in AFS, then the ammo can be transferred upon clearance of the DROS for the pistol. The gun goes on the DROS. The ammo transfer is separate, but uses the cleared DROS for eligibility. No additional fee for background check would be required. You either convince the dealer to hold the ammo, or you meet the buyer for gun pickup and transfer the ammo at that time.

Ammo transfer is free at time of dros.
