AR500 Armor Giveaway!!!
Here is the first of hopefully many CGSSA Giveaways. This giveaway is open to all Calguns members who attend a local CGSSA Chapter Event between now and July 31st 2014. See below for details on how to enter!
 The fine folks over at AR500 Armor have generously donated a full set of armor (front, back and side AR500 steel curved trama plates with spall guard) along with an awesome camo plate carrier that has some rifle and pistol mag pouches. The carrier is fully adjustable and surprisingly comfortable with all four plates in it (yes I had to try it on). This is perfect for home defense or when the Zombie hordes start walking down your street. Estimated package value is $410.  I encourage everyone to go over to the AR500 website and check out all of their products. In order to be eligible to win you must do the following: - Be a member of CalGuns (its quick and painless to sign up!) - Attend one of the many Chapter Events between now and July 31st. Every time you attend an event you will be provided with a QR code and password to enter. It is your responsibility to get the information from the local chapter lead and enter within 24 hrs of the event. No entries will be allowed after the 24 hr window (if the event starts at 7pm, entries are closed at 7pm the following day), one entry per person, per event. - The more events you attend, the more chances you have to win!!! In the Nothern CA sub forum. Unfortunately I don't believe anyone up there runs a monthly chapter shoot. All of the chapters/events are run by volunteers so someone would need to start the events and there would need to be enough interest in the area to keep it going (something I believe was lacking in the past due to the availability of BLM, private shooting land, etc).

There will also be a Bee Cyn clean up on May 24 in the Hemet area and the Raahauge's Sports Fair May 30, 31 & June 1. Go to the Calguns Range Cleanups forum for the former and to the I.E. Chapter forum to sign up for those events.
You will have a chance to help out fellow Calguns members by either helping to clean up a shooting range or being able to work our booths at a shooting event. It's a win win. Last edited by RoundEye; 05-23-2014 at 3:19 PM..
