One of the goals of the Calguns Shooting Sports Association (CGSSA) has always been to get California gun owners out to the range, so to enter, you'll need to do just that. Inspired by one of the best movies of the late 1980s, in order to enter, you're going to need to show us you best Lethal Weapon happy face.

1.) Go to your favorite range, and take a paper plate or your favorite other target and make your best Lethal Weapon Happy Face!
3.) Like\Friend\Follow the Calguns.net Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
4.) Like\Friend the Advantage Arms Facebook page.
5.) Post a picture of your BEST happy face in this thread.

Your post in this thread will serve as your entry into the drawing. Only one entry per person.

Wow, this was a lot harder than I thought. In my defense, it was my first time shooting this gun (G21).

Distance was 5yds (I tried it at 7 and it wasn't pretty). It can probably be done a lot easier with a rifle, but hell Mel Gibson didn't use a rifle. Now that I think about it, if I were to do it again, I'd probably draw some aiming points/patterns so you don't have to kind of guess as you're going along.



Anyway, if nobody else enters, I'll win!

EDIT: Here's my entry. Unfortunately (well not that unfortunate) I had to employ the "ol workhorse" to get this done. The Sig was plenty accurate, but I just didn't have enough range time on the gun to really put my shots where I wanted them. Groups were tight, but low and to the left. Nothing I can't fix pover the next few weeks as I get to know the gun, but for the sake of getting a picture up, I had to bust out the CBOB. This was also my first 50 rounds of load development with Longshot, to which I am really, really impressed. This is great stuff and may end up being my go-to 45 powder.



Awesome giveaway idea! I should be taking the new Sig to the range this weekend and this will be a fun way for me to see what this thing is made of.

Funny story, I wasn't trying to make a smiley face, I was only aiming for headshots at 25 yards and when I brought the target back I thought it kinda looked happy

This was much more difficult than I imagined. Eyes and a nose weren't too bad, it was always the mouth I go hung up on. After failing to get a good one and filling up my target with holes I finally got one, off target but decent.
