Christmas gift!!

CIVIVI "Brazen" flipper with a 3.46" damascus blade and brown micarta scales.

Sweet little knife! Very nice figure in the damascus blade. Very smooth operation. Deep pocket clip.

Picked up a new edc beater. Cold steel recon 1 tanto. Not the smoothest flipper but the lock up is tight and I'll put the s35vn through the paces

I have the new Talwar in S35VN and the upgraded steel is nice over the old AUS8 of my last Talwar XL... knife was about the same price too buying it after the initial MSRP calmed down for the new line up.

Also love the $60 4MAX Scout. They are smooth enough, that's for sure... and bushings beat bearings for some things... like toughness and water resistance, especially salt water. I baton'd my 4MAX though a log with a hammer and it only loosened up a tiny bit side to side. It isn't a fixed blade, but it might be the next best thing that I have.

You couldn't pay me to baton my ZT 0452CF. Not less than $275 anyway.

Yeah I retired my zts for work. They're just too nice and I like the old ones better than the new ones. The triad lock is rugged and the only folder I'd consider batoning. I saw a 4max in the deals section but this was 70 bucks cheaper and I like tanto blades. I just don't like the coating. I prefer stone washed it looks nice after hard use. No chipping

I have the 4MAX Scout which is the inexpensive version in AUS10A stonewashed steel with grivory handles. It is made very well and fit and finish is perfect, blade deploys as smooth or smoother as any CS folder I ever had - dare I say smoother than the TALWAR that is more than twice the cost. I think mine was $60-$65 when a YouTuber had a video highlighting it and the sale that was going on. Looks like you can still find it under $80.

I use all my ZT's though some I do not carry very often because I really like the 0452CF and 0456BW... basically carry Sinkevich, Rexford, George designs... whatever those models are. I got to the point with ZT where I know exactly what models I love.

Traditionals I oil and put away for storage and don't use most of them... though I do have about 20 on the shelf (many are custom or dupes) that I can carry as a second knife, that one usually doesn't cut anything.

1 s110v manix2
2 s30v pm2
Have to say I'm impressed with spyderco quality.

For ****s and giggles I chopped down a 1.5" tree branch to see what my cold steel was capable of. Tree was quite wet and it made quick work of it. No chipping or rolling. Definitely cut above what a folder should.

Most traditionals are stored in the tubes they come in wrapped in waxed paper oiled, because 1095 will rust fast. GEC's come in the tubes. These in cardboard boxes.

I have about 20 traditional users on a shelf, and I have another shelf for Spyderco and one for ZT where I use Spyderco style knife stands to display... I 3D printed them... I have other "gun rack" style knife stands that I display some traditionals on a shelf also mostly custom ones that don't have the tubes... and I have tool box style gun cases where I have stored some also. Some users are in leather slips - I have about a dozen slips.

I don't really have any Fixed blades displayed... mostly just stored in sheaths which is typically just fine if they are kydex but I have some swords and choppers out.

Yes! I was hoping someone would catch it. I love them! I've actually gotten compliments on it at work.

Milwaukee Electric Fastback 6-in-1 Folding Utility Knife, Model# 48-22-1505.

https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Produc...des/48-22-1505

Not a knife per se......More like a box cutter with some extra features. I find the Fastback 6-1 much more versatile than the Benchmade I've been carrying for the last twenty years and it only cost me about 15 bucks, which is one tenth of what I paid for my Benchmade folder.

A couple of Microtech Ultratech OTF's. I've been on a bit of a auto knife bender recently.

The blue is a "LEO special order" with a stone washed M390 Tanto blade. This knife has a black back housing.

The Green is a Ultratech II Signature Series with a satin M390 blade. The extra milling on the sides really helps it from moving in your hand during use.

I got the Green knife from NCblade.com A super company with fantastic customer service and great pricing.

I bought a giant Victorinox butcher knife for breaking down rib roasts into ribeyes. 19" long with a 12" blade. I had to make a sheath for it and considering the odd shape of the blade I decided to make a sheath with a little more than 1/2 the length open on the top.

6oz natural vegtan leather, died brown and bound by waxed Maine Thread with copper snaps from Tandy

Nothing fancy but just ordered a factory second Launch 9 from Kershaw Guy, pretty excited for it to show up.

Just got it, I recommend Kershawguy. This was a factory second, looks like maybe a little scuff on the handle is all. Blade seems great and action is smooth.

The Remington Silver Bullet by GEC is new... as large as a GEC 97 (comparo)... 3.5" blade is yuge for a traditional... Backpocket sized or larger than a ZT 0562, smaller than a 0452CF. Real silver bullet shield, saw-cut bone covers.
