If off roster, make sure the problem is repairable.
If not, they cannot return it but will replace with an on roster gun of similar value.
Are you sure the roster also prevents manufacturers from shipping guns back to you that you already own? I thought it was only for sales from licensed dealers.

They can’t transfer you a new gun as a replacement for your off roster old gun if they find it or it’s a complete replacement is what he’s saying

Looking for easy upkeep is understandable, but in some respects dangerous. If your life depends on a tool you need to be driven to keep it in top condition. Imagine a diver looking for the rig with the lowest maintenance so he (or she) can avoid the hassle.

Had several 22s and kept the Ruger MK lll. Still going strong after 15 years.

Rugers are off roster now. You still see MKIIs and others pop up for sale. If you see one in good shape for a price you can live with, worth picking up.
I was going to say the same. I put well over 1k rounds thru my MKII before cleaning it. One I never should have sold.. but the M41 replacement is no slouch.

Exactly. After 36 years and many thousands of rounds, it just won't quit. Has always eaten everything I throw at it.

My mid 90's MK2 is without a doubt my most reliable .22 handgun and I own many.

Did you not like your Beretta 89 GS? They are fine pistols, and mine functions flawlessly, shoots very well..

I have two uppers, one threaded for a suppressor, other is a standard slide..

Yeah it has actually only been fired around 30 rounds total..The non threaded original upper has never been fired at all..The 30 rounds were through the threaded upper slide assembly..

I did not really buy 89 as a shooter so much..I have quite a few other Berettas for that purpose..I also have a Neos not pictured also..

Catching up to us all, that’s a really nice gaggle of Berettas you got.

I’ve owned several Buckmarks for over ten years. Easy maintenance and few if any issues.

This cannot be a serious Q by the OP.

Hey AR22 when I was shopping 22 handguns I saw this at Sportsman’s Warehouse. I passed on it because I don’t have a M9, but did look it up and found out it has outstanding reviews. Not sure if there is a California model, the one I looked at had 15 round magazines. They also have a black version if FDE is not your thing.

Ruger MK series will run many range sessions without cleaning.

Have put more rounds through my Ruger Mk II than any other gun. I did not realize the extractor fell off, until the casings started hitting me in the head. Can be tough to reassemble after cleaning the first few times.

Do not recommend the Sig Mosquito, which still frequently jams. Mine has the correct recoil spring, is lubricated, using good ammo, and gun is the worst of the 45 guns that I still own. Do research before buying.

I have a Ruger Mark II Target Stainless with a bull barrel that has run perfectly with just spraying Hornady One Shot aerosol cleaner/lube through it occasionally. I also have Ruger blued Single Six that gets cleaned more frequently (but not after each outing) and, being blued, gets wiped down with Birchwood Casey Barricade at least before being put away,

I recently broke down and cleaned my ruger mark ii as it had been around 1400 rounds since my last cleaning and it was starting to have issues feeding and ejecting. It’s not a gun I would recommend for someone looking for low maintenance, as the disassembly and reassembly process is a bit of a pita, but it ran great for 1400 hundred rounds so that’s a strong mark in its favor.

For the record it was pretty filthy inside, but ran really well right up till the last couple mags. Disassembly was quick, trying to remember the correct orientation of that one pin took about 15 minutes and then it went back together. Won’t let it go quite that long next time, only problem is it is so fun and easy to shoot 2 or 300 rounds fly by like nothing.

It’s been around 5000 rounds since I disassembled my MII for cleaning, I just clean the barrel and the bolt face and lube it. Still running like a Swiss watch, when that changes I’ll break her down and clean it the right way.

Jennings J-22 for the win. A little polishing of the feed ramp fixes the jams. It patterns well with good ammo. I said patterns, not groups.

Ruger MK series pistol is tricky to reassemble the first couple times, but after that, it's easy peasy.

Is that the shrunk down / compact one or full size?

My Browning 1911-22 is small. Bought it because it simulates in size and function a Springfield Armory EMP 9mm.

The 22 continues to run in flawless fashion. I found some mags cheaper than retail and it's a fun plinker.

I installed this, took all of the hassle out of it.

Nice. It's great that there are simple mods out there to help people enjoy a nice firearm that they'd otherwise forego because they are deterred by reassembly.
