New Portable HPA Compressor

Hey folks, I had the privilege to field test the Nomad II Compressor by Air Venturi. This is a great little portable unit that perfect for guys like me who spend a ton of time hunting and camping. This allows me to be independent on my air source and keep the tank at home. Hope some may enjoy this video, had a great time making it.

Nice review.

I just read that those compressors might become less affordable next year. Here's an excerpt of an interview with Val Gamerman, CEO of Pyramyd Air, from Hard Air Magazine:

HAM: Do you see low cost HPA compressors as the next big sales driver?

Val Gamerman: I see it as a way to help grow PCP segment. Unfortunately tariffs will put some strain on the affordability factor of compressors (and probably airguns) down the road as many compressor developments are taking place in China.

Val Gamerman: Most likely. They just did into compressors!

Thanks for looking at the review! Val is a very good judge of the market in the industry. I see them becoming more affordable, to be honest many of the China compressors are junk. Eventually they will figure out how to make them last. When it comes to compressors you get what you pay for like anything else in the Airgun market. Air Venturi did well with the build quality of the Nomad II

It's manufactured in China under the brand name New Warrior (Xin Yong Shi).

Most all the components are made in China. I think the major difference is how everything was put together. Looking at it inside and out it's very well made as far as QC. I did look at several from other manufacturers and was a bit disappointed in quality for what they were asking. Without spending a ton of money this is in my opinion the best portable compressor on the market as of now. As other companies jump on board I think we will see more pop up.

Get a shoe box and a 4500 tank. You will be better off. US made.
