My Ma-Ten, featureless. Almost done, needs a few things under the free float to be finished.

I think featureless is almost a no brainer on an AK variant rifle.

kx3=flash suppressor.

Which means you don't have a "featureless" rifle

Man I'm gonna kill Noveske, they specifically told me it was a featurless deal and was considered a muzzle break. so am I cool to run it without a bullet button? or am I assed out?

The product name is "KX3 Flash Suppressor" and their website says this:

So yeah, unfortunately you are assed out. Nice looking gun though!

How comfortable are grip wraps to shoot with? Thinking of going with one on my fixed stock 20" build, and am a little concerned about comfortable weapon retention.
This rifle:

Obviously I'll have to ditch the VFG and get a brake

why did you pin in to the barrel? was the barrel less than 16"? If it was just for OAL, it doesn't need to be permanently attached.

yeah according to the manufacturer its 15.75 inches long. and the over all length is way to short so really I pinned it for barrel length. it also helped to have a 3 plus inch long "flash suppressor" on there to get it over 30 inches overall.

When I called Noveske the lady that worked there said it would be good on a featureless build, so long as the barrel length is 16 inches. When I got the invoice I noticed specifically that it was a flash suppressor. So I guess its my fault I took advise from a woman! Really man she made it sound like "oh yeah its totally legal for a featurless build". I even triple asked her I live in Crackerfornia?? wtf I''m pissed, just blew 130 bucks and can't run my 30 rounder prebans because technically I have a "deadly" feature on the rifle!

Thanks for the info guys! I was suspecting it!

I would also consider a hammerhead. Allows for a traditional rifle grip.

I've got a bullet button on there now that it came with along with the 10 rounder mags.

Can you swap barrels on that rifle? Maybe worth trading + cash for a stock barrel and having an actual comp or extension added.

And then some of the heavy stuff...

Have been collecting MG related stuff since the 80's in hopes of someday being able to own some of these guns, so have lots of belts, drums, and magazines for them. People started making semi-auto versions and then CalGuns made it possible to own them in CA.

Russian DP28 (actually Polish in this case). Factory blank adapter usually resides on the end of the barrel. I need to make a flash hider/blank adapter hybrid that will be legal in CA.

M53 (Straight up copy of the German WWII MG42). There is a machined cone with a slightly over bore sized hole in it welded into the flash hider to eliminate that feature.

And probably my favorite, the RPD built by Project guns in FL. Loaded with blanks in this photo.

Thanks for hosting the video again. I don't know if you've tried this but it is possible to pin the stock without removing the friction lock lever. I've posted a comment in the thread you linked above.

well I took care of my flash suppressor and put on a mfi fake suppressor, only because it gave me the option of lengthening it overall, and getting the barrel over 16" and custom threaded for the FN. Looks cool but I hate the poser look, but what do you do?? When I got the suppressor it made my gun overall length 31.5", I bored out some of the threaded portion so it would overlap the barrel and there was 2" of thread so it gave me enough thread to tighten it on the barrel and pin the bad boy to make it permanant, then you just smoothen out the weld so the out attachment can go over it.
