Refresh your browser, then you will see yourself logged in. At least that's how it works for me. Apparently there is a refreshing issue when you click on a forum. It seems you have to refresh in order to see the most updated posts.

I have difficulty logging in: Once logged in, it logs me out if I jump to a different thread. It also won’t let me subscribe to certain threads. ???

Wrong tread. This is about problems with the site (bugs, glitches), not problems with a user

I’ve been having numerous problems: As I said earlier, I have difficulty logging in: Once logged in, it logs me out if I jump to a different thread. It also won’t let me subscribe to certain threads.

Last night I tried to start a new thread of handguns for sale. It wouldn’t keep me logged in. This afternoon I was finally able to do it but it wouldn’t accept photos of my firearms for sale. And just now, I tried to log in to edit my own thread but it again wouldn’t let me log in. Well, it would…until I changed the screen to to return to my thread, the. It logged me out. This happened at least 5x.

And although I’ve subscribed to this thread - or at least I tried to and the thread seems to indicate I have- I get nothing in my email as I would’ve at one time.

Even assuming I should get an interested buyer of any of my firearms for sale, how am I supposed to know? It won’t send me an email indicating anyone has sent me a PM, or (very probably) an email indicating there’s a message in my thread. And it won’t (usually) let me log in to look for PMs or answer them or a message left in my thread.

I'm having the same problem too.

When I hit F5 button (refresh browser), it comes back with me logged in. Don't know how to fix it otherwise.

Having trouble logging in. It seems to indicate I am on, but when I try to view messages it indicates I'm not. A note say I may not have privileges?

In the thread ?tea leaf reading??? post 369 illustrates there may be a formatting problem with punctuation. Throughout the post there are question marks where there should be quotation marks.. I had the same problem with one of my posts and had to go back and manually edit the punctuation. I know that I did not type in questions marks instead of quotes. Thanks.

https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/...853456&page=10

NB: it happened again here where my quote marks were replaced by question marks. Left them in place for you. I originally typed ?tea leaf reading?..? so both quotes and period string were changed.

Even when I manually edit my punctuation, same result. I had contacted Tapatalk app tech and they examined the issue and found that it is not with their app software.

4) Limit your ads to one per Marketplace sub-forum.
When posting within these forums we require that you keep all items to one thread per sub-forum only. If you have multiple items to sell, we expect you to include all of them in one thread in the appropriate forum(s) - e.g. all handguns in one thread in Private Handguns Sales forum, etc. Members may only start one active thread per separate Marketplace forum.
'Active' is defined as 'Currently in use and being maintained', if you're bumping your thread it's active. After three calendar days without activity a thread will be deemed 'inactive' and you can create a new thread. If you wait several days and bump your thread it wil be considered active and any threads posted in the intervening time will be merged or deleted.

I posted THREE different long guns sales, now all three are combined. Please correct this. Also when posting parenthesis are showing up as question marks?

AJB78 posted the forum rule - one for sale post per forum.

Any further correction will involve deleting your thread.

WTH is you not paying attention to the rules.

Go back and attempt to read and understand them.

Login in issues like everyone else. If I go out to the main page, I get logged out and can't login it. I.e., not off topic forum. If I click on any other subforum, and I'm now logged in. Weird.

I don't know if it's a cookie thing, but when I try to hit REPLY on a post it kicks me over to a LOG-IN screen again. I input my username and password and log-in and it kicks me back to the same LOG-IN screen.

The sporadic login issues abated for a while but now they're back. I don't see a need to describe it as I have seen the behavior reported here already. Let me know if you need additional info.

I really find it odd that I, running Win. 7, don't experience any of those issues, even the punctuation debacle.

I know it's an issue with the newer server software, but why compatible with my old system and not more advanced software / operating systems?

Of all the members here, I cannot be the only one running an antique operation system...or am I?

One would think that I would be the one with major issues.

Respectfully
Kyle
