A crap ton more than I planned on.

Are we counting stuff bought after season last year for this year? Or just stuff bought recently?

Will my wife see this thread?

Just purchased

Seek outside 4 person tipi
Nemo sonic 0 bag
Jetboil
Salomon quest 4d boots
Exo 4800 k3 pack
VIAM game bags
Klymit insulated static V luxe pad
Silk bag liner
Kuiu Axis jacket

After last season but over winter
Kuiu peloton mid layers
First light merino bases
Kuiu axis pants
Kuiu gloves
Under armor down pants
Used kuiu synthetic puffy pants

I'm sure more I can't place.

I probably need to buy a bag for warmer temps as I am hunting early season. Silk liner with a light bag will probably be good.

Nothing for me but got my son ready for his first hunting year, got him a 20 gauge Winchester 120 here in the marketplace, a case of steel shot, and hunting clothes. He just got his Hunter safety class done yesterday and got a free duck call for passing the test. Just need to get him waders and to go practice.

Nothing really. I did buy several rifles. One for hunting and a couple for fun shooting. Bought normal amounts(for me) of reloading stuff and a RCBS bench mounted priming tool and a couple sets of reloading dies. No clothes but I need to get a safety orange hunter jacket before my elk hunt in Oct.
Did buy new batteries and tires for my RV trailer and new tires for the truck. Also bought a winch and mount for my truck and mounted 3 sets of lights on it. If that counts.

Too much gear! Roadway Inn, diner just down the street, trusty 30-30 and a Buck 110 I sharpened just last season[I think!]. Friggin' ready!

Just kidding here! Buying stuff is part of the hunt. Every season.

Am I the only one who didnít buy anything? Once you buy the basics itís all mainly marketed hype that you donít need. Im not trying to speak condescendingly. Iíve got a garage full of **** from the years, haha.

Iíll buy some beer for camp if that counts...

Some of us are late onset hunters and are still finishing out our kits. And then some of us are late onset hunter gear junkies.

Can't think of anything I bought this year except licenses/permits/tags, etc.

Oh yeah, I did pick up another pair of "like new " woodland bdu pants at a garage sale for $2. They should last me a few years. Don't really understand the fascination with the "high tech" $200+ pants. I must be missing something.

I didnít really either, usually hunt upland in jeans and cabelas camo for everything else. I have friends that rave about the kuiu pants for hiking and stuff. Found them on sale and figured Iíd try a pair. My question was do they hold up. Friend has had a pair for 3 years, hunts some nasty stuff and they look new. Donít mind dropping some coin if they will hold up. Guess we will see.

Did you get your EXO pack yet? and when did you order? I order my 3200 on the 29th of June, and a week later also ordered a 4800 July 5th. both are full packs with frame and accessories.

First time in a long time I didnít buy anything. Spent enough the past 10 years to make up for it. To the point know it is $100 and ounce to cut weight so it is harder to pull the trigger on upgrades.

Buddy and I got a new wall tent. The old Montana canvas was done, probably 30yrs old. Went with Davis wall tents out of Colorado. Highly recommend them if your in need of a tent.

I ordered june 12th and picked it up the 31st as I live in town. 4800 fusion. Pattern definitely impacted timing. Size did too. I saw a post on Facebook from someone who ordered a 4800 fusion with order number 19-25254 that got shipment notification.

Colors and patterns made a difference for. They got batches of things in. When they had all the parts to fill a pack they did. They did not hold orders if accessories were missing. I'm waiting on a dry bag. But, with 2 frame sizes, 3 belt sizes, 3 colors and 3 bag sizes, there are lots of combinations.

I'm right there with you. Though I tend to sell of things I haven't used for a while & don't see myself using in the near future. Sometimes that leads to regrets later but overall it has been a good thing.

Admittedly, I have been on a bit of a shopping spree over the last couple years.

For D-zone & general use:
Knife - Morakniv.
Pack - SeekOutside Goshawk (detachable, replacing my old large pack, which I've had since the late 90s)
Boots - TR mini-mils (replacing a worn out pair)
18' Travel Trailer - I pitched my wife the idea of a large tipi tent with a wood stove but she wanted the trailer. We'll get some use out of it.

For my late season hunt:
Traditions Woodsman .50 - acquired a year ago from a member here. Lots of little accouterments & supplies to run that thing.
2-person Luxe tipi tent - wanted a little more room & a floorless setup for solo winter camping/hunting.
Coveralls - Still pending. I'm tired of the poison oak but love to hunt where it grows.

Mostly for fun, I also picked up a Marauder pistol (airgun). But I expect to let my son use it for turkey season next Spring. My other .22 PCP weighs in around 12 lb fully loaded and that's quite a bit for a kid. The little P-Rod is a lot lighter, just as accurate and should still be powerful enough for head & neck shots out to 15-20 yards.

Same here. BDUs work well enough for me.

Funny thing is that the last 2 deer I shot, I was wearing running shorts on one and old jeans on the other. Didn't expect to seen anything on those outings. Ended up hauling out some venison.

I ended up getting a Tikka T3X Superlite, so now I don't have to lug my target rifle around with me anymore. I'm very excited about that. I stayed with the .308 caliber. Got some new Kuiu gear, but did not spend 200 bucks on pants.

Hopefully you used active junky as well to save on kuiu is you bought new. Coupon plus active junky makes it reasonable.

No on Active Junky, but all my gear was on sale. I don't feel horrible about how much I spent. Or so I keep telling myself.
