Default Site doesn't "REMEMBER"me

Hi Mods,

For some reason Calguns site doesn't remember me when I call up the link. I have to log on each time. PAX

I've read that others are having a similar problem, but so far I haven't had that issue.

I use Firefox mainly an an older PC using Win. 7 Pro.

Just wondering if more up to date systems are having the issue. ??

I have not tried Edge yet but will later.

Respectfully
Kyle

Getting Error 500: Internal Server Problem when logging in.

Had to go to Marketplace and then Home to get in.

What gives Kes?

Changed my password.

Asked it to "remember me" during login.

Now have to log in each time.

Does not seem to be anything in user CP to fix this.

(Windows 10)

On my home computer I have to log in every time, but my work computer, phone, and iPad all remember me.

First world problem.

Hmm. Just the opposite for me. Desktop PC always keeps me logged in, but laptop, phone and iPad require a login every time.

No smart phone, so cannot address that.

So far my PC remembers me but still running Win 7. (For reference purposes).

(Glad we don't need to dump our vehicles every time a software / system upgrade takes place). Yet.

Kyle

That worked for me.

Had to figure out where that removal function and list was located, deleted just the CG cookies and it seems to work.

Thanks!

Glad to help.

Not like I'm a tech guy- but over the years friends that are in tech all suggest blowing cookies out once a week/month. Makes you have to re-login on sites once, but its like taking out the garbage as the little bits and pieces left in cookies cause problems. <-- the totality of my tech knowledge.

this is how it worked for me the first like 2 years I was a member, I just thought that's how it was. Then saw a thread on it and fixed it. there's a thread on this topic every now and then.

Still pleasantly surprised every time I come back to the site and do not have to log in.

I owe you a beer if you ever come down to Southern California!
