Ruger SP101 2 inch 357 snub. Serial number indicates 1995 mfg date. It looked unused and clean. Took the Ruger to the range same day and was able to get nice grouping at 5 yards using 38 sp. Bianchi holster makes it a comfortable daily carry during winter season.

Finally completed the collection of modern (CZ) Pythons - 3" barrel, 4.25" barrel, 6" barrel. The sights sucked so I replaced the OEM ones with the new Wilson Combat front and rear sights. The 6" is still my favorite, for its balance, shootability, and comfort. Too bad concealed carry is out of the question, even for hiking and other outdoor pursuits, as it doesn't even fit my HPG chest harness.

That would be a fun gun in .38.

Great pictures, great revolvers guys. My only revolver now is a SP101. I had some great ones in the past, Smith 65 3 inch, Colt Python 4 inch, Smith 686 4 inch to name a couple but being a dummy I traded them away years ago.

Posted this on the Expats section earlier...
Recently I picked up a new Rossi RP63 then a few days later, my American Rifleman magazine arrived. First time I bought something before seeing it on a magazine cover. Rossi.jpg
