Default Utility bill / Registration

Hey all,
Crazy times.

I guess DROS is not accepting calls and is slow to respond to emails.
I have a client with a real ID, and his only residential document is an updated car registration that is printed out from an immediate third party company. He is waiting on the DMV printout. It looks like the regular DMV printout, but with no "watermark". Does this work?

Thank you in advance.

Who printed it out? I think that AAA is associated with the DMV in some way, so it should be acceptable if from someone like that.

Yes they sure are. However, when I've ever gotten anything from them, it came printed out on DMV Paper just like I walked into a DMV and got it.

While I'd be slightly weary, the requirement is for the purchaser to provide proof of residency, and there is a list of acceptable documents. If he provides you one of those, and a reasonable person would agree, then they have satisfied the requirement.

I spoke with my field rep about an hour ago and she said the DES phone lines are having trouble today. I couldn't get through either.

AAA is an actual DMV office. there are private companies that assist you with registration. They are not the DMV and only print you receipts. Original DMV docs are still mailed to you. I used to use them when a car had a registration issue.

A rep got back to me and said "if the paper does not have DMV across it, then it is no good".

Thanks for chiming in. I do appreciate it.

There are some third party companies that are expediting official documents. I have seen a few this last week, but have asked for originals.

Car registration is listed as one. But I was not sure about the "unofficial printout"
