March 5th 2022 Saturday long range practice

New shooters are welcomed. Please Meet at the Pits!

The range office opens at 7:30am. DO NOT ENTER THE RANGE HOUSE PRIOR TO 7:30!

Pay your Sac Valley range fee and sign the Sac Valley waiver at the public rifle range office. You must receive a wrist band from the range office. If you do not have a wrist band you will not be allowed to practice. Then meet at the pole barn and sign the NCPPRC waiver. Non NCPPRC members pay an additional $15 at that time. PLEASE BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT OF CASH....Credit cards not accepted! Participants will help set out targets and spotter boxes.

Safety Brief starts at 8:30am at the PITS, attendance is mandatory. If you are late and miss the safety brief you will not be allowed to participate. (If participation increases dramatically we could revert back to meeting at the pole barn)

We’ll shoot for 10+/- minutes at each distance from 200 to 1000 yards, including the barricades. We drive from one line to the next (except the barricades), so have your gear so it's easy to get out of and into your vehicle to minimize down time.

NOTE - All NCPPRC Members have been supplied with a registration code. This code will not be required during Open Registration the week prior to the practice.

** Reminder: Please use the link provided to pre-register for the practice. This does not guarantee a particular lane, but will be used to manage the practice session. If you do not pre-register, there is no assurance that you will be able to participate.

Registration for Practice will closed on Thursday at 5pm. (Please text or PM me with last minute cancellations)

General Registration opens on 02-25-2022 at 5 PM and closes on 03-04-2022 at 5 PM.
If you do not register online for the practice, there is no assurance that you will be able to participate.

There are two steps to the registration process: Registering for the practice, and Selecting a Squad.
* After you initially register and get to the “Thank You” page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Select Squad” button to squad yourself.

If the practice is full, please sign up on the Waiting list, and include good contact information for us to reach you if a spot on the roster opens up. Vacancies will be filled from the waiting list in the order received.

New shooters Please note:
* Sign up on squad 1. This squad will shoot first.
You must have drop data for your rifle and bullet.

Our Practice max out at 56 shooters. NorCal members have a priority registration period before General Registration

The first relay working the target pits (relay 2) will set out the targets when they go to the pits
