Competitive shooting options in Sac?

Greetings!

I will be moving to CA in the near future, in the Sacramento area. I also have been wanting to get into competitive shooting, and am open to IDPA, USPSA, 3-gun, even CAS.

Will need to learn a lot, and wondering if anyone here in the Sac area does competitive shooting, and have recommendations on clubs/ranges that I can follow up with, and also to help inform which game I want to start out learning?

I shoot rifle and started competing last year, this is where I found the club to shoot with, range, schedules, contacts, etc. Really changed the everything about how I go to the range. Quite a few pistol matches as I hear them banging the steel rapid fire all the time.
