Best Bee Canyon Clean-Up EVER !/ This Was HUGE !

I have been active as ., Well . a custodian
Of Bee Canyon shooting area for over 10 Years / doing clean-ups


Never have we had a Clean -up as Big as the event Saturday
The personal turnout from all the groups was Great!!

THANKS to all the Cal-Gun members that showed up .
This could of not happened without All your hard work
I believe our group cleaned 5 Canyons !!!!!!!!!!!

The Event with all the groups combined ,, Cleaned Every Canyon in the Area !
( A First as far as I know ! )

We Had Cal-Guns , Riverside Sheriff Department , Hemet Jeep Club.
California Conversation corp . Sheriff Explorers . Forestry personal
And a few other helping groups

We met at 8:00 at a spot where the empty dumpster was placed
Had a quick meeting ,,, Then hit the Canyons


The action was Non -stop with Trash being bagged , carried out to the dirt road
Then Picked up by a never ending procession of Trucks , Some Cal-Gun members ( Thanks Matt )
Some by Forestry trucks ... Any way to get the stuff out !!

We just Kept moving , splinting our forces as needed . Leap frogging to another then another canyon

Somehow we All managed to finish about the same time
To see that Full to the top dumpster was an impressive sight on the way out

Now this Needs an Explanation ::

This is Bill......
The orchard owner above Bee Canyon / in the first picture
Not only did he ' Donate ' a $ 100 bill to pay for food and drink !
He came down from his house and Helped with his own Back-hoe
Taking out shot up water-heaters . Freezer and any item Too large for the trucks.
This man deserves a Standing Ovation !!!

On Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 8:00 AM, Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department, partnered with US Forestry in the area of Bee Canyon, Hemet regarding a trash cleanup effort. This area is commonly used for recreational shooting and off-highway-vehicle use. The area is also prone to illegal dumping. During the trash cleanup effort more than 20 tons of trash and debris were removed from the area.

This is what I found out in Bee Canyon / Sunday Morning
10 windows... Not the complete windows .... Just the framed panels

What was Really strange ...... There was 2 or more where you park to shoot at a number of the canyons ......
Good thing I had my work van .. Stacked them in and took them over to the Dumpster at Cranston Ranger Station

Definitely....

2 reasons,
The area is Closed to shooting for Fire Season / Open in Jan.

And there was a blockade of Armed Sheriff's at the entrance [ just off hwy 74 ]
Stopping All people that were not associated with the clean-up
No off roaders that day..........

The trick is to paint one side white and the other side black so you have options
