Between the two choices...
If its primary use for duty use or range/target shooting or home defense, then Glock 21SF. If its primary use is for conceal carry, then Glock 30SF.

I have both of these and a lot more.
The G21 platform (SF or not) is the most versatile you'll ever come by in my opinion. Want a long slide? Lone Wolf makes them for 45 and 10mm. Want to shoot 10mm? Buy a G20 complete upper off eBay Want to shoot 40SW? Get a conversion barrel for the G20 upper. You can't do the above with a G30 and a G29.

10mm Glock 20, 40, or 29.
If you were a true connoisseur of the 45ACP, you would never allow that cartridge to touch anything other than a 1911. Since you are looking at the G21 and G30, you are not a true connoisseur. That means you should look at the 10mm Glocks. You can get a 357 SIG or 9x25 Dillon barrel for the G20. You can also get a 40S&W barrel for the G20 to shoot the only ammo that will be on the shelf during the next ammo shortage.  If you are set on a 45 caliber, look for a 45 GAP Upper for your G19. .

My bedside gun is a G21SF. My G30SF just sits in the safe nowadays because I prefer the G36 for ccw.

My EDC is a Glock 21 with a red dot (appendix).
Only problem with Glock 21 is finding accessories. It's a bit fatter than the 9mm, so won't fit those holsters.

I vote Glock 21, and if you are able, get the Glock 21 Gen 4. I own multiple Glocks, and it's my favorite.

I have large-ish hands and only have 1 Glock...the G17. When I held all the 9mms the G17 felt most natural to me.
So I'd go with the 21sf - The 30sf looks too much like G26 to me and I didn't like that one in my hands at all. Didn't get to shoot it though edit: I change my mind. The 30sf is bigger than G26. And since I have the G17 I don't need a virtually identical G21sf in 45. I'd go 30 to get alittle variety. Seems a next mix between the G19 and the G26.
