This is a whole lot of unnecessary... I do love SYCKO though.

Default AMTAC

I’m not normally one for pushing a product but I recently bought this AMTAC Northman pocket knife; 3.5” blade with a pocket sheath that is purpose made for concealment. I bought the coyote brown sheath separately for my battle belt.

Beautifully made and sturdy as hell. If you’re interested, take a look at;

Great concealment knife i use for everyday carry.

I'm no expert but you might want to look into the ramifications of carrying a fixed blade concealed here in California.

I bought 2 from ESEE Knives

Izula and Izula II in black.

I wasn't sure if I would like the skeletonized version so I bought both to try out. I decided that I like the feel of the micarta handles and that one will be my backpacking all purpose knife. I love the size and weight. I think it will do everything I need a knife for. I've started to shop for better backpacking gear that is smaller and lighter. This helps drop my pack weight by replacing my full size Kabar.

Haven't been buying much lately. I've got too many knives and have actually sold a couple expensive ones, but I came across this on another forum this and couldn't resist:

I'm not a big Spyderco fan, but have always liked the Native model. I have one of the base FRN handle w/ S30V models and a 1 of 500 G10 version with 440V steel already, neither of which get carried. I came across this one on another forum. I've got a serious weakness for Carbon Fiber. This one has fluted CF handle scales with a CPM S90V blade and is made in the USA, so a premium offering for Spyderco. I couldn't resist! With a blade just under 3", which is smaller than I usually carry, this may well become my go to for when I have to travel by air to places that aren't blade friendly.

Default EDC knife

Kershaw 1555TI assisted opening folder. Paid $39.95 OTD, a bit high but I've been wanting one for awhile. Titanium CARBO Nitride coated, whatever the hell that is. The flipper assisted opening feature is very positive. The test drive sealed the deal for me.

Benchmade 760BK LFTi Bob Lum Design. Been wanting this since it came out years ago, never pulled the trigger...until now.

Nothing fancy. The last knife I bought was over a year ago. A simple Moraknif. Quite a work horse. A tough knife takes a lot of abuse.

It's the best feeling knife I have owned - the shape is great and the texture is just right. Lockup is solid, plenty of jimping.

I just grabbed the Bugout 535-3 version, without the custom blade engraving.

It's starting to loosen up and smooth out nicely...

I found it locally with a nice price match discount...

Those look nice. There is always EBAY. Not sure what is going on with GEC lately but they are impossible to get now. I think people buy anything they can get and resell them. Lame. But cool that good traditionals are popular.

Probably picking up a Mineral Mountain hatchet Works... it is the 20% off sale month in September "20off" code. To get a Small Pig Trail bowie for $140 or a small upswept blade for $120, in full tang 5160 is a good deal IMHO. These are bomb proof parkerized blades with a sheath. Other good models are the Bull Noser and Brush Puppy.

Ive got the large upswept and its a beast of a blade. I got mine before they changed the name of it. When I purchased mine it caused a major issue with PayPal because of the name. Somehow they thought I was sending money to terrorists.
